GoAir will start non-stop daily flights between Mumbai and Leh, a Himalayan district in India. This will be the first direct flight on the sector. The service will begin from April 13.
Flight G8-386 will take off from Mumbai at 0400 and arrive in Leh at 0640. The return flight will take off from Leh at 0710 and arrive in Mumbai at 1125. These will be routed through Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
Starting April 17, GoAir will also increase frequencies on the existing Mumbai-Patna and Mumbai-Lucknow routes.
