This summer Vistara will increase its services by 25 per cent within India.

The airline is due to receive four A320 aircraft this year, and will add new cities to the route map, as well as increase frequencies on existing routes.

Jammu and Kochi will now have Vistara landing in their airports, taking the airline’s total destination count to 15.

With these expansions, Vistara will connect 17 city pairs through direct flights, and add 16 city pairs through ‘via’ flights.

Starting April 7, Vistara will launch direct daily return flights between Delhi and Srinagar, and from April 9 the same aircraft will fly to Jammu from Srinagar. Likewise, the daily return flights between Delhi and Kochi will fly via Mumbai from April 14.

Additional flight routes via Delhi include Mumbai-Varanasi, Lucknow-Bhubaneshwar, Bengaluru-Guwahati, Srinagar-Mumbai, Lucknow-Pune, Lucknow-Hyderabad, and Hyderabad-Bhubaneshwar.

Ticket purchase for said ‘via’ flights will open this week.

Frequencies will also increase between existing routes, starting with Delhi-Bengaluru.
