All Nippon Airways (ANA) has partnered with Taj Mahal Hotel, Jing An Shangri-La and Conrad New York to design new inflight meals for its flights departing from India, Shanghai and New York respectively.
The carrier will also be offering its first-ever Japanese cuisine collaboration on flights departing an overseas airport, with the introduction of inflight meals by the Tofuyu Ukai restaurant on flights from Taiwan.
The new inflight meals will be served in business class and will be offered from next year.
Jing An Shangri-La
Routes: Shanghai to Haneda, Narita, Nagoya and Kansai (excluding late-night departures)
Period: April, July and October 2016
Info: The hotel’s Summer Palace restaurant will be designing the menu, with the new offerings expected to be in line with the southeast Chinese cuisine typically served at the restaurant.
Taj Mahal Hotel
Routes: Mumbai and Delhi to Japan
Period: Flights departing Mumbai : September 2015-November 2016; Flights departing Delhi : March 2016-November 2016
Info: The historical hotel will collaborate with ANA to provide traditional Indian fare that has been popular with guests staying at the property.
Conrad New York

Info: Passengers will be served meals designed by the executive chef of Atrio at Conrad New York. The restaurant is well-known for its Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and this will be translated onboard ANA flights departing the Big Apple.
Tofuya Ukai
Routes: Taiwan to Japan
Period: January, April and October 2016
Info: Tofuya Ukai is a tofu restaurant by the Ukai Group, which operates several restaurants around the Tokyo area. Ukai’s signature bean tofu soup, and other popular tofu cuisine will be served.
