Jin Air is gearing up for the busy winter travel season by expanding capacity on its service between Seoul Incheon and Hong Kong.
According to airlineroute.net, the route will still be operated once daily, but the South Korean low-cost carrier will replace the incumbent B737-800 with the widebody B777-200ER from December 1.
Overall capacity is set to double, with the narrowbody B737-800 offering only 189 seats in economy. Meanwhile, the B777-200ER will feature 40 seats in Jini Plus and 353 in economy. As the premium product of Jin Air, Jin Plus offers seats with an extra 15cm of pitch, while passengers can also enjoy priority baggage service.
Service times will not change, with flight LJ113 departing Incheon at 0925 and arriving in Hong Kong at 1120. The return service on flight LJ114 will then take off from Hong Kong at 1330 and touch back down in Incheon at 1805.
