Four Seasons has announced it will open 12 hotels in seven countries later this year and in 2016.
Three of the properties will be located in the US, in New York, Oahu in Hawaii, and Surfside in Florida; two in the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai; and two in Bogota, Colombia.
The other hotels will be located in Seoul, South Korea; Casablanca, Morocco; Kuwait City, Kuwait; Kyoto, Japan; and Tianjin, China.
Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre
The first to open, by the end of 2015, will be Four Seasons Hotel Seoul (see news, August 5), Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca and Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota.
The remaining nine properties are scheduled to open next year.
Four Seasons Hotel Bogota, which will join sister property Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota, will have 64 rooms, of which more than half are suites, and a Japanese restaurant, spa, gym and meeting spaces.
The waterfront Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi will be the brand's first property in the Emirati capital and will be located at Al Maryah Island in the central business district. It will feature 200 guestrooms, a Chicago steakhouse, bar and poolside restaurant, as well as 124 private and serviced residences.
Also in the Emirates, Four Seasons will introduce its second hotel in Dubai. The 106-room Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre will be located in the downtown business district and will have a sky bar, 24-hour restaurant, cigar room, rooftop pool and garden.
Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya in the central business district will include 263 rooms, five dining options and an indoor swimming pool, spa and fitness centre.
Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto, the group's second property in Japan, will be located in the historic Higashiyama-ku district. It will feature a spa, fitness centre, swimming pool and four dining options. There will also be an additional 57 private residences.
Joining its sister property in Midtown, Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown will be located in Lower Manhattan in the Tribeca district. The hotel will contain 185 rooms, a spa and fitness centre, event spaces, restaurant and bar. It will also have 157 private residences.
Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina will be the group's fifth Hawaiian property. It will contain 358 rooms, a multi-level spa and wellness centre. Four Seasons Hotel The Surf Club in Surfside, Florida will contain 40 beach cabanas and 150 private residences.
Four Seasons Hotel Tianjin will be the ninth Four Seasons property in China. It will be part of a mixed complex and will feature three dining options, a spa, fitness centre and a pool.
