Four Seasons gears up for Seoul debut

5 Aug 2015 by BusinessTraveller

Four Seasons will open its first hotel in Korea this October, located in the central business district of South Korea’s capital.

Four Seasons Seoul features 317 rooms and suites, as well as total of seven restaurants and bars, including Shanghai-inspired Yu Yuan with a showpiece Peking duck oven, Italian restaurant Boccalino, and Charles H, a cocktail bar taking inspiration from a “Prohibition-era New York speakeasy with a twist of Korean energy and style” (see rendering below).

The hotel will also house the 5,800 sqm Four Seasons Club Seoul – a “health, fitness and socialising” space spread over three floors, with features including a gym, juice bar, lap, vitality and children’s pools, spa facilities, a Korean sauna, and an indoor golf experience with driving range.

For meetings and events there will be two ballrooms, seven further events spaces, and a total of 25 private rooms with the hotel’s restaurants and bars.

Between now and the end of 2016 Four Seasons is scheduled to open new properties in locations including Bogota, Casablanca, Dubai, New York, Florida and London, with the last of these being located within the grade-II listed Ten Trinity Square building overlooking the Tower of London (see news September 2014).
