Budget hotel group Motel One has opened its first property in Amsterdam.
The 320-room Motel One Amsterdam is located opposite Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Conference Centre.
Facilities include a lounge, bar, free wifi and iPads in reception.
A statement said the lounge "features two impressive art installations that have been built out of old bicycle components. This theme continues up to the first floor, with a wall of bike carriers that invites guests to leave greetings and notes on small cards."
Motel One first launched in 2000 with budget properties located close to German motorways, but has since refined its concept to focus on prime city centre locations including Brussels, Berlin, Frankfurt and Munich.
Motel One Manchester opened in June (see news, June 2015), the German group's fourth hotel in the UK, joining two Motel One properties in Edinburgh (see news, November 2012) and one in London (see news, December 2014).
