Eurostar has unveiled the first images and a teaser video trailer of its new e320 trains under construction.
The rail operator has a total of ten new trains sets on order, built by German manufacturer Siemens, with the first train set to enter service in 2014.
Eurostar is also in the process of refurbishing its existing fleet with new interiors by Italian design company Pininfarina. The first of its 28 existing train sets has now been sent to be revamped, and is scheduled to enter service in the second half of 2013.
The rail operator recently announced plans to introduce quiet coaches on all of its services (see online news June 8), and has confirmed that it will begin introducing wifi internet access on its refurbished trains from next year (see online news May 17).
