On top of the list Geneva, so easy to use, Detroit, super sleek connections from domestic to international and Vienna for super short connections.
On the bottom, the old Bangalore airport which was a complete tip and Miami for the complete chaos that is immigration there …

So far 112 – not counting many European repeats.
    Best airport – Singapore Changi
    Worst – Miami

Aisle, you been to Kuching? Post-renovation or after? I think Kota Kinabalu T2 is very bad. It was middle of hot season and the aircond did not feel like it worked

Mazin26 – it was a couple of years ago, there was nothing after passport control (not even a vending machine) but at least the air con worked

Interesting post ,,, and wow have some people like Tom In Scotland travelled.
The ‘worst’ lists made me smile … as many oldtimers ( travelling in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s) will remember the planes full of smoke … so often any airport was a relief.
China and some Indian airports at that time really make anything today very tame … Manchester … sheer luxury lad .. like the time in Western China , a colleagues suitcase was presented back to him at arrivals covered in blood .. with a dead eel still attached to it … exactly how and why … we never found out … ha ha

My total count to-date is only 65 with the first flight flown in 1969, far fewer than most here. However, I have travelled through many of these 65 airports tens of times and dare I say, some of these even hundreds of times!! Having seen several refurbishments and new additions of terminals/facilities, Changi has consistently been the best and Seychelles has been the worst in terms of passenger comfort (back in 2004).

126 for me. Not bad considering I tend to visit the same airports and destinations repeatedly.

25 in UK & Ireland – This number surprised me to be honest.

    60 x in Europe

3 x Middle East and Africa

    9 x in Asia

    29 x in US

I still enjoy the thrill of visiting a new airport and make a note to try and take an apron IPhone shot as a memento of the occasion.

    Best – T5

    Worst – Blackpool

    That’s a thought AhmadAR

    Repeat visits…….

EDI must be at the top with 600 +
    LHR a clear 2nd with 500 + ( Became a shortcut expert at the old T1 )
YVR a clear third === Family visits and where my teddy bear lives : )
GLA – DUB-ORK – AMS- HKG-ALC well over double figures
NBO – CDG – PIK-MAN – BGK – SYD/MEL near or just over double figures

The top 2 figures pretty much changed my mind-set to air travel

Records only go back to 1998, so probably a few USA airports missing, but claim 128 including 2 x BKK & HKG. About 1800 sectors in the 18 years covered.

I was surprised how many airport codes I have forgotten.

    Total: 317 different airports

    Favourite: HKG
    Smallest feel: RRS (Røros, Norway)
I most miss: THF (Tempelhof – Berlin)

    Probably best I don’t list them…

I’ve counted 113 airports so far but I’ve probably forgotten quite a few.

Looking at some of you guys I feel like I’m quite an amateur traveller!

    Favourite is Zurich.
    Most hairy = Madeira
    Most scary = Lagos
Most wow factor = Royal terminal, Riyadh
    Worst airport = Conakry
Most hated = Frankfurt and JFK joint equal
    Friendliest = Colombo
    Unfriendliest = JFK
