Agree with LGW, waited ages at the north terminal dec 2012. Glasgow can be slow. LCY is fast, although last time I was on a BA flight into LHR T3 my bag was waiting for me with little wait at immigration. Prague and Budapest were quick. HK was quck as well.

In 2000 I arrived at the check-in at JFK for my BA Concorde flight to LHR, where I was met by BA’s station manager and his assistant. They already had my boarding pass prepared, so my bag was taken and passed to another agent, whilst the station manager escorted me through security to the lounge.

We chatted for about 20 minutes, after which time his assistant brought me my baggage check. They then left, and shortly after I boarded for my supersonic flight to London.

When I arrived, after a lengthy wait at the carousel, and a quick visit to the baggage service desk, I learnt that my bag was still in New York………….

    Best has to be Antwerp

Worse Schipol, do it every month and every month can’t believe how long it takes and how many times they change the belt number

Most airports where you are able to walk to the terminal, generally means the bags will come quickly.

Large airports are really hit and miss. T5 on a very good day, 15 minutes on a bad day 50 mins… and its exactly the same in BKK… between 15 and 50 mins..

Alexpo1 – I am sorry OPO wasn’t ideal for you today at the carousel … but what a great city. Have a good time.

Least of my worries David lol just gonna shave and shower and then practise my very rusty Portuguese. Best regards

I have always founf Manchester terminal One to be consistently the worst for time taken to collect luggage – took 27 mins from disembaking yesterday to collect my ‘priority’ tagged bag – the flight itself was only 80 mins!!
Priority tagged baggage, I counted 3, came out in the last 10 bags to be delivered to the belt!

Best has to be Osaka, the luggage is even set to leave the delivery conveyer wheels first.
    Worst Manchester UK

Best is SIN, others places can be good but SIN is unfailingly excellent

Worst LHR, again it can be good but usually the waits are long.
