I have been making several European bookings in club and on 2 particular bookings, rows 1 – 3 were all blocked yet 4 – 6 were empty. I wonder if the problem is now moving further forward the aircraft.. I did check with BA but they couldn’t confirm whether row 1 was booked or just not available.

The other bookings were all ok with row 1.

Hi Martyn, with regard to row 1 at least, I am sure that due to the new dense seating in CE, the four seats in Row 1 are gone immediately so I don’t think it is an IT issue, just depends on how busy the flight is and how many Golds are on board as row 1 goes quick. I was actually immediately/automatically assigned Row 1 A and C for two flights I have booked in November.
