Unionpay is offering an array of privileges for Diamond and Platinum credit cardholders with card numbers starting with “62”, issued in Hong Kong and Macau.

Benefits are available throughout 2017. There are five categories: dining, travelling, luxury living, shopping and entertainment, and healthy living.

“Dining” offers are from the restaurants of two Hong Kong hotels. Hugo’s at Hyatt Regency Tsim Sha Tsui is offering a Buy-1-Get-1-Free promotion. Unionpay Diamond credit cardholders can enjoy a “buy-one-get-one-free” deal for three-course set lunches and six-course classic set dinners, and 10 per cent off for extra sets and beverage consumption (see Business Traveller Asia-Pacific’s recent review of the restaurant).

The Royal Garden, meanwhile, is offering Diamond and Platinum credit cardholders a 20 per cent discount on lunch and dinner buffets, as well as 15 per cent off its à la carte menu.

In the “Travelling” category, Diamond cardholders get free access to the Plaza Premium Lounges at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), with up to three visits per day.

The Singapore Airlines Holiday offers both tiers of cardholders up to 40 per cent discount on Avalon Waterways travel packages and a bonus round-trip airport transfer, up to US$200 credit at Amari Havodda or Kandima in the Maldives, buy-one-get-one-free Dusit Thani spa treatment, as well as complimentary local airport transfer to or from HKIA.

The Premium Airport limousine transfer service benefit in the “Luxury Living” category allows Diamond cardholders paying HK$250 (US$32) to enjoy one private chauffeur journey, and luggage handling and meet-and-greet services. The promotion applies to cities in Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai, and cross-border from Hong Kong to Shenzhen International Airport.

Both the “Shopping and Entertainment” and “Healthy Living” categories also include offers such as Ronaldo Academy Hong Kong courses, Unionpay Exclusive Golf Privileges, as well as Lane Crawford Exclusive Shopping Privileges.
