Finnair plans to add extra flights to Phuket in Thailand this winter due to increased demand.

The Finnish flag carrier will increase its Helsinki-Phuket route to six-times-weekly from December 2024, up from four times per week in winter 2023.

Services will operate on Monday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday from Helsinki, with return flights from Phuket from Monday-Thursday and on the weekend.

Flights have also been timed to allow for easy connections from airports including London Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh and Dublin. Return flights from London to Phuket start from £825 in economy.

Finnair is reinforcing its presence in Thailand, with the carrier already operating a double-daily service from Helsinki to Bangkok.

The airline has also announced plans to add more flights to Japan in next year’s summer schedule starting in late March 2025.
