Oneworld member Cathay Pacific is once again joining hands with Michelin-starred French restaurant Louise to bring a fresh take on traditional French cuisine to the skies.

Building on the airline’s new selection of “Hong Kong Flavours” created in collaboration with Cantonese fine-dining restaurant Duddell’s, Cathay Pacific says it is excited to team up with Louise to present an exclusive menu of 16 reinterpreted French classics available for customers flying in first and business class on select long-haul flights departing Hong Kong.

First class

First class appetisers include Obsiblue prawns with herb-infused consommé, followed by a selection of exquisite main courses including steamed Chilean sea bass with chorizo sauce and chicken ballotine with sauce supreme – a nod to Louise’s signature roasted Hong Kong yellow chicken. This is followed by a selection of desserts including raspberry and pistachio financiers.

Business class

In business class, the main courses available include braised Iberico pork belly with bacon jam, as well as pan-seared beef tenderloin with Madeira jus and porcini purée. For dessert, the Louise team has prepared treats including Guanaja chocolate cremeux.

Hong Kong flag carrier Cathay Pacific is hoping to reach 80 per cent of its pre-pandemic passenger flights within the second quarter of 2024, and 100 per cent in 2025.
