Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red have launched their latest reward seat redemption sale, offering 20 per cent off the required Virgin Points on almost all routes.
The discount is applicable for bookings made by 31 January, for travel up until 16 December (the latest date currently bookable in Virgin Atlantic’s reservations system).
It is valid across economy, Premium, Upper Class and upgrade bookings, for all Virgin Atlantic marketed and operated routes (flight number starting with VS), except those to or from Tel Aviv, Austin (which was recently suspended), Delhi and Lagos.
Examples include return economy flights from London Heathrow to New York for 16,000 Virgin Points (reduced from 20,000), and Heathrow to Las Vegas for 24,000 points (reduced from 30,000).
Taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges are payable on reward seat bookings.
Virgin recently announced plans to increase capacity on its key US routes from London Heathrow to Boston and New York JFK this summer.
The carrier will operate seven daily flights to JFK for summer 2024, as well as offering a twice-daily service to Boston.
