Choice Hotels International has announced the latest US addition to its Ascend Hotel Collection.
The Mayfair Hotel is housed within a seven storey building at 240-242 West 49th Street next to the Eugene O’Neill, Ambassador, Gershwin and Barrymore venues in New York’s Theater District,
The hotel has been recently renovated, having closed during the Covid-19 pandemic, and features 77 rooms as well as an onsite restaurant and lounge.
The Mayfair Hotel joins the Blue Angel Hotel, The L Hotel and the Insignia Hotel as the fourth property under the upscale Ascend Hotel Collection in New York.
Globally there are around 360 Ascend properties either open or in the pipeline – the brand entered the UK in 2016 with the addition of Channings Hotel The Howard in Edinburgh, but neither of these hotels are now listed on the choicehotels.com website.
