Luxair has announced plans to resume flights between Luxembourg and Manchester next year.

The flag carrier previously served the route prior to the pandemic, and the airline confirmed on its Facebook page that it will operate three flights per week on the route from 1 April, 2024.

Schedules are as follows:

  • Flight 4541 departs Luxembourg at 1020 on Monday and Wednesday (0925 on Friday), arriving into Manchester at 1110 (1015 on Friday)
  • Flight 4542 departs Manchester at 1150 on Monday and Wednesday (1055 on Friday), arriving into Luxembourg at 1445 (1315 on Friday)

The one hour 50 minute flight will be operated by the carrier’s De Havilland DHC-8 400 turboprop aircraft.

There are currently no other direct, nonstop flights between Manchester and the landlocked western European country – Luxair also operates flights from London City, while British Airways flies from London Heathrow.

Earlier this year Luxair launched flights between London City airport and Luxembourg – a route previously served by VLM and Air Antwerp.
