Ryanair has introduced a new twilight bag drop service for its customers taking early flights from Manchester airport.

Passengers flying before 0800 can now drop off their bags at the airport between 1900 and 2200 the evening before their flight.

The service is free of charge, with customers advised to proceed to the carrier’s check-in desks at Manchester airport’s Terminal 3 as normal, and follow the signage for the ‘Twilight Bag Drop’.

The news follows the recent launch or reinstatement of several similar twilight check-in / bag drop services at UK airports.

In May Virgin Atlantic resumed its twilight check-in service at Manchester airport for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic.

And earlier this month Glasgow airport introduced a new Twilight Bag Drop service, available to easyJet and Jet2 customers.

“Ryanair passengers travelling from Manchester Airport before 0800 can now go to the airport the evening before, between 1900 and 2200, and drop their checked bags off hassle-free ahead of their flight the following morning.
