United Airlines has introduced new amenity kits for business and first class passengers on transcontinental and Hawaii routes.

Business class passengers on transcontinental routes between West Coast hubs and the New York City area will now receive amenity kits featuring products from wellness brand Asutra. The reusable pouches include an Asutra cleansing face towelette, a lip balm, hand lotion and eye mask as well as a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste and ear plugs.

The pouch and eye mask are made with recycled materials, with a card inside the pouch offering inspiration for self-care practices while travelling.

Later this month the carrier will also roll out amenity kits for first class passengers between the continental US and Hawaii, featuring skincare from Hawaiian brand Ua Body.

Each kit includes a moisturising lip balm and hand cream, a face mist featuring local scents like sandalwood, jasmine and coconut and local ingredients like Kukui oil and Organic Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood oil. The kit also features an eye mask made with recycled materials plus a bamboo toothbrush, toothpaste and ear plugs.

The reusable pouch also features artwork by Hawaiian-based artist Christie Shinn and comes in four different designs depicting the local landscape.

Peter Wolkowski, United’s director of onboard product design, commented:

“We’re really proud of these amenity kits – fantastic new partners, exclusive products and high-end ingredients. Our customers are going to love them.

“These kits, customized for our transcontinental and Hawaii-bound travelers, are just the latest way we’re working to make the travel experience even better at United.”

Last month the airline debuted its new first class seats on domestic services, which will be rolled out to more than 200 aircraft by late 2026.

In addition, United opened new clubs in Newark, Chicago and Denver.
