Etihad Airways has announced plans to operate a four-times-weekly service to Boston from 31 March 2024.

This marks the carrier’s fourth destination in the United States, joining Chicago, New York and Washington, along with services to Toronto in Canada.

The new service will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner which is configured with business and economy cabins. Tickets are available to book now at etihad.com.

Flight times are as follows:

EY 147 departs Abu Dhabi at 0310, arrives at Boston Logan International at 0855

EY 148 departs Boston at 1555, arrives at Abu Dhabi at 1200 the following day

The airline will also offer connections to cities throughout North America thanks to the carrier’s partnership with JetBlue.

The airline added that many Emiratis have studied in Boston, describing it as “a city deeply cherished by past and present Emirati students and their families”, and noted that the emirate has made significant investments in the healthcare and education sectors of the US city:
