Emirates will increase frequencies to Hong Kong with a daily nonstop service from Dubai starting March 29, 2023.

This will be in addition to its existing daily flight from Dubai to Hong Kong via Bangkok, therefore increasing the airline’s operations on this route to 14 weekly flights.

The nonstop service will be operated using an Airbus A380 aircraft. EK380 will depart Dubai at 10.45am and arrive in Hong Kong at 10pm. The return flight EK381 will depart from Hong Kong at 12.35am and arrive in Dubai at 5am.

Emirates will also provide increased connectivity for travellers to further destinations beyond Hong Kong owing to its interline agreements with Cathay Pacific and Hong Kong Airlines, among others.

Emirates currently deploys its flagship A380 to 40 destinations worldwide including London Heathrow, Sydney and Houston.

Its double-decker aircraft will serve nearly 50 destinations by the end of this summer, thereby restoring close to 90 per cent of the airline’s pre-pandemic A380 network.

Apart from Hong Kong, Emirates will also deploy its A380 on another key route to Asia – Dubai-Shanghai – with two weekly flights from January 20, 2023.

Its A380 will also be deployed between Dubai and Guangzhou with EK362/EK363 operating as daily nonstop flights starting February 1, 2023.

Elsewhere, its A380 will return to routes such as Glasgow (March 26, 2023), Nice (June 1, 2023) and Birmingham (July 1, 2023).

Emirates is the largest operator of Airbus A380, with more than 80 aircraft currently in active service.
