Marriott has opened the Delta Hotels by Marriott City Center Doha in Qatar weeks ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup which will be held in the country.
It is the first Delta Hotels by Marriott property – part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of 30 brands – in Qatar.
The hotel is located in the West Bay area close to key hubs such as the Doha Exhibition Convention Center, Diplomatic and Financial Districts, and the City Center Mall.
The 32-storey Delta Hotels City Center Doha is a 320-key property and offers rooms designed with a neutral palette and colorful accents, as well as a headboard wall with large format artwork.
Each room, suite and serviced apartment has views of either the sea or Doha’s city. All rooms are equipped with premium amenities and working desks.
Delta Hotels City Center Doha features more than 850 sqm of events space, including nine meeting rooms. Recreational facilities at the hotel include an outdoor pool, a 24×7 fitness centre, and the Emerald Spa.
The hotel’s culinary offerings include Medios Restaurant and Bar which is located on the 32nd floor and delivers a Spanish dining experience with a menu offering tapas, paella, arroces, and fideua. The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant – Babylonia – is modern take on Iraqi cuisine, while Lewiston’s Café serves beverages and healthy food options. For a quick bite, Doha Baking Company offers bakery items, pastries, and coffee.

Marriott’s Delta Hotels brand debuted in the Middle East in 2019 with the opening of a property in Dubai. The 360-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Jumeirah Beach, Dubai has direct beach access and sits within the Jumeirah Beach Residence waterfront development. Recently, Marriott confirmed that the Delta Hotels by Marriott, Green Community Dubai which will open to its first guests in Q4 2022 will become only the second Delta Hotel in the UAE.
