Marriott has opened its first Delta Hotels property in Europe, with the rebranding of New Century Hotel in Frankfurt.
Now known as the Delta Hotels by Marriott Frankfurt Offenbach, the 223-room waterfront property features free wifi, a fitness centre, onsite parking, 590sqm of events space, a business centre and East Side restaurant with outdoor terrace.
Marriott acquired the Canadian-focused Delta Hotels portfolio in 2015, and says it is now “one of the company’s fastest growing brands”, with 30 signed projects in North America, Europe and Asia.
Last year Delta’s global brand leader Gregory Durrer referred to the brand as “a development powerhouse”.
The group said the brand’s focus was on “perfecting and elevating the small details that make a huge difference during travel”, and commenting on the addition John Licence, vice president premium and select brands, Europe at Marriott International said:
