Kebabs & Kurries is an exclusive Indian restaurant showcasing India’s heritage cuisine that has been fine-tuned through years of research by the celebrated chefs of ITC Hotels.

Kebabs & Kurries captures the originality and evolution of multiple cooking styles in a comfortable and earthy ambience. Cuisines of Royalty and Nawabs, rich in folklore as also in taste, are served at the restaurant. Melt-in-the-mouth kebabs are sprung from the restaurant’s armoury of clay ovens, iron tandoors, charcoal & ‘Pathar’ (stone) grills along with rustic ‘angethis’ and ‘tawas’. Flavourful curries, kept in sealed ‘deghs’, copper ‘handis’ and cauldrons are simmered in charcoal ovens to cook the desired gravy as either ‘Qorma’, ‘Qaliya’, ‘Salan’ or ‘Dopiaza’.

Smt Asha Bhosle is a regular patron of Kebabs & Kurries at ITC Grand Central and during her visit in September 2018 she mentioned to Chef Mohammed Shareef that he makes lovely food and has shared praises about it to her sister. Late Lata ji mentioned to Chef Shareef, that she would like to try some kebabs and biryani especially mutton. A dinner hamper was prepared with Barrah Kebab, Murgh Angaar, Gilawat Ke Kebab, Nehari, Dum Pukht Gosht Biryani, Kesari Phirnee and Gulab Jamun and sent from ITC Grand Central, to Late Smt Lata Mangeshkar as a gesture. An appreciation letter was sent along with a set of music records of the renowned singer as a gift on the following day by Chef Mohammed Shareef.
