Virgin Atlantic has partnered with Salcombe Distilling Company to offer its non-alcoholic New London Light brand at the carrier’s Clubhouses.
The agreement – in time for ‘Dry January’ – sees New London Light become the exclusive non-alcoholic spirit brand in Virgin’s Clubhouses, and includes the creation of cocktails including ‘Outbound’, which combines New London Light ‘First Light’ with cold brew coffee, pineapple soda and chocolate bitters.
Those preferring to fall off the wagon can swap the New London Light element of the cocktails for Salcombe Gin ‘Start Point’, which is also part of the group’s portfolio.
The New London Light range includes the gin-inspired ‘First Light’, as well as ‘Midnight Sun’, which “captures the essence of the rugged Nordic shores with wild coastal berries, fresh pine and kelp”, and ‘Aegean Sky’ combining bitter citrus and olive flavours.
The New London Light cocktail menu is now available at Virgin Atlantic Clubhouses in London Heathrow, New York JFK, San Francisco, Boston and Washington DC.
Commenting on the news Corneel Koster, Virgin Atlantic’s chief customer and operating officer, said:
“We’re delighted to be offering our Clubhouse customers a choice of quality non-alcoholic cocktail and aperitif options from New London Light by Salcombe Distilling Co.
“At Virgin Atlantic we’re always looking for new ways to deliver for our customers, and our exclusive global partnership will offer those seeking an alcohol-free beverage a whole new range of delicious options to match the premium experience available in our award-winning Clubhouses.”
