Emirates has provided a further update on lounge reopenings across its network.

Facilities in Hamburg and Paris are set to reopen later this month, joining other recent European lounges reopenings in Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Milan, Munich and Rome.

In the US Emirates will resume operations at its San Francisco lounge in February 2022, joining already reopened facilities at Los Angeles International, Boston Logan International and New York JFK.

Lounges in Colombo and Bangkok (pictured above) will also “soon” reopen, joining a recently reopened facility in Cairo.

Earlier this month Business Traveller reported on a similar announcement regarding lounge reopenings at Birmingham and Manchester this month, followed by Glasgow and Gatwick in January.

Meanwhile at the carrier’s Dubai International Terminal 3 hub, Emirates has now resumed operations at five lounges, with facilities in Concourse C, and in the West Wing of Concourse also set to reopen in the coming weeks.

The carrier said that “Special seating arrangements have been made to ensure social distancing guidelines are met”, adding that “depending on specific local guidelines in each market, either buffet service or a la carte dining are offered to customers and only contactless menus are available via one’s smartphone”.

Aside from the dedicated Emirates lounges, eligible customers can now access 96 partner facilities across the carrier’s network, with 15 more set to be phased in.
