
Marriott has opened the first hotel under its AC brand in the Dominican Republic resort town of Punta Cana.
The 129-room property is located in downtown close to the San Juan Shopping Centre, around 15 minutes from Punta Cana International airport.
Features include the Spanish-inspired AC Kitchen, open for breakfast, dinner and weekend brunches, and AC Lounge for cocktails and tapas-style dishes.

Other facilities include an outdoor infinity pool, 700 square feet of flexible meeting space, and a 3,480 square foot outdoor lawn.
Marriott has been steadily growing the AC Hotels brand since it formed a joint venture with the Spanish group back in 2010, reaching over 155 properties in more than 20 countries and territories.
