Marriott International has opened its first ever property to feature three brands under one roof.

The 21-storey building – located opposite Nashville’s Music City Convention Center – comprises hotels under the Residence Inn, Springhill Suites and AC Hotels brand.

Marriott has nearly 100 dual-branded properties worldwide – including the recently opened Moxy and AC Hotel complex in Atlanta’s midtown – and has another 144 under development, but this is the first time it has offered three of its brands in one complex.

The $140 million development features the 209-room AC Hotel Nashville Downtown, the 136-suite Residence Inn Nashville Downtown Convention Center, and the 125-room Springhill Suites Nashville Downtown Convention Center.

The property has several shared spaces, including the 6th floor indoor/outdoor swimming pool, with a wrap around veranda, fire pits and cabanas, and a 21st floor rooftop bar. For meetings there is a total of 9,000 square feet of space.

Commenting on the opening Eric Jacobs, Marriott International, Chief Development Officer, Select and Extended Stay Brands, said:

“Music City is the perfect place for Marriott to make history with its first newly built, triple-brand property.

“Bringing these three differentiated brands together will help travellers find the perfect accommodation – whether they are in Nashville to explore the city’s famed honky tonks and exploding restaurant scene, complete a work assignment, attend a convention, or perhaps even accommodate a large group with different needs, such as a family reunion.”
