Hilton has opened the first property under its Garden Inn brand in Bahrain, and currently the only Hilton-branded hotel in the Kingdom.
Hilton Garden Inn Bahrain Bay is connected to the mixed use retail and leisure complex Avenues Mall in the capital Manama, and features 192 rooms with bay and sea-facing views, 70 per cent of which offer connecting rooms.
Facilities include an infinity pool, spa bath, fitness centre and all day dining restaurant Together and Co.
It’s not clear if the property is what was originally announced as the Hilton Bahrain Bay Hotel and Residences in 2017 – Business Traveller has contacted Hilton for clarification and will post any response here.
The group also recently announced plans for the Conrad Residences Bahrain Financial Harbour, which is set to open in 2022 within the mixed use First Energy Bank Tower development on the northern shore of Manama.
