Avani Hotels is set to open Avani+ Mai Khao Phuket Suites & Villas on July 1, 2021. This will be the brand’s ninth property in Thailand and the first in Phuket.
Situated in northwest Phuket, the resort is 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport and close to Mai Khao Beach and the Turtle Village Shopping Complex.
The property houses 70 one, two, and three-bedroom suites and 30 expansive one- to four-bedroom pool villas. The spacious suites and villas are accentuated with breezy, beachy tones and equipped with private kitchen and dining areas in addition to signature Avani amenities.
The suites feature open-air terraces and range from cosy studios to larger multi-bedroom units with pool or garden views. The pool villas start from 195 sqm and are ideal for large groups of friends and families to enjoy. The four-bedroom connecting double pool villas present 530 sqm of lush retreat that can host up to 12 adults and eight children.
Key facilities include a spacious main pool, a kid’s club, a gym and a range of restaurants and bars.
Guests can unwind in the turquoise-tiled tropical lagoon pool that comes with a swim-up bar serving distinct concoctions. The outdoor kids’ playground area hosts daily fun and educational activities.

Avani+ Mai Khao Phuket Suites & Villas will join the brand’s growing collection of 33 properties worldwide, including the recently opened Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort in Thailand and Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel and Suites in the UAE. The property will also be joined later in the year by Avani+ Khao Lak Resort and Avani+ Koh Lanta Resort, both in the south of Thailand.
