Radisson Hotel Group has opened its first property in Turkey under its Radisson Collection brand.
Located in Aspat Bay to the south of the Bodrum peninsula, the 80-room hotel offers views of the Aegean Sea and direct access to a private sandy beach.
Rooms and suites at Radisson Collection Hotel, Bodrum, include sea-view balconies or terraces overlooking the coastline or the adjacent Anthaven Marina and Town Hall. Leisure facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, meeting and event venues, and a 1,150 sqm spa. The latter includes a couple’s room with indoor shower and jacuzzi, traditional hammam, steam room, sauna and heated indoor pool.
There are three restaurants and two bars, with international cuisine at Cafe Haven, and Peruvian gastronomy at BARranco.
The hotel is situated near historical sites such as the renovated Bodrum Castle, the Museum of Umnderwater Archaeology and the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus – one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. It is a 30-minute drive to Bodrum city centre, and 46km from Milas-Bodrum International airport.
Yilmaz Yildirimlar, Area Senior Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey, commented:
“We are delighted to announce the opening of our first Radisson Collection Hotel in Bodrum, the so-called pearl of the Aegean coast. Our guests will discover a serene oasis on the turquoise shores of the Aegean Sea. With this opening, we are not only expanding our footprint in Turkey, but also strengthening our position further as a leading international hotel group in the region, with 31 hotels open and currently under development.”
The hotel is part of the original Anthaven Aspat housing project by Ant Yapi and will be managed by Access Hotel Management Tourism Investment and Consultancy Company.
The Radisson Collection was launched in 2018 as a replacement for the Quorvus Collection, as part of wider group restructuring which saw Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group renamed as the Radisson Hotel Group.
The brand recently added the Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d’Ampezzo in northern Italy, and announced that it would be debut a property in Germany this autumn.
