Air Asia India has announced free cancellation and rescheduling for flights to and from West Bengal, in view of the lockdown announced in the state.

The airline has also extended the free cancellation and rescheduling offer on flights to and from Karnataka, Delhi, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu for the current duration of the respective state lockdowns.

“All Air Asia India guests who booked their flights before the announcement of the lockdown can opt to cancel or change to another flight without incurring any change fees or cancellation charges,” the airline said in an official release.

The new offer is available for bookings made on airasia.co.in as well as on other major booking channels.

In addition, Air Asia India has also revamped the ‘Premium Flex’ fares for all future dates, which includes a choice of seats, and ₹500 charges for cancellations made beyond 72 hours before the scheduled flight departure, along with unlimited changes.

Flights can be changed or cancelled via Air Asia India’s chatbot, Tia, available on the airline’s website or on Whatsapp Chat at +91 6360012345 as well as by entering flight details on ‘Manage’ on airasia.co.in.
