Scheduled to open in August 2021, the Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) will offer fun experiences and activities for the visitors. The museum will feature 14 installations dedicated to the celebration and experience of enjoying ice cream.

One of the attractions includes a fully functional, Singapore-inspired Dragon Playground, a pink and yellow jungle with 10,000 bananas. There will also be a sprinkle pool that can be enjoyed by everyone, making it one of the gram-worthy spots at MOIC.

Visitors will enjoy five unique ice cream treats throughout the 60 to 90-minute guided experience.

Commenting on the news, Maryellis Bunn, co-founder, and creative director said:

“Ice cream is a universal symbol of the joy that brings happiness to everybody, regardless of age and across all walks of life. Museum of Ice Cream is for the kid in all of us, and in a time when every little dose of positivity is needed, we hope to uplift spirits, and bring people together to make the world a happier place, one ice cream at a time.”

Keith Tan, chief executive, Singapore Tourism Board said:

“The Singapore Tourism Board is proud that Singapore is the first international location for the Museum of Ice Cream outside of the US. The opening of such innovative attractions adds vibrancy to our city and underscores the tourism industry’s confidence in Singapore’s continuing appeal as a top travel destination.

“As a socially responsible business, MOIC will look to bring its own brand of fun in the safest possible manner. Keeping with Safe Management Measures, the museum will put in place hygiene, safe distancing, and logistical guidelines for its attraction, as well as retail and F&B spaces – all without taking away from its unique brand experience.”
