Gulf Air will start moving its entire operations for inbound and outbound flights to the new Bahrain International Airport terminal from January 28.

The national carrier of Bahrain said the relocation would not only reimagine the customer experience for passengers flying through the airline’s hub, but mark a new chapter in the kingdom’s aviation history.

The new airport terminal will feature a dedicated check-in area for both Falcon Gold and economy class passengers, as well as a new Falcon Gold lounge that is double the size and capacity of its current lounge at the old airport.

Taking into account all of the updated health and safety measures now required, the new state-of-the-art lounge will reflect new concepts of modern premium lounges, but retain the legacy and rich history of the 70-year-old Gulf Air brand.

New lounge spaces will include a children’s area, shower rooms, prayer space, a quiet area along with live cooking stations and new food and beverage concepts. Operational around the clock and with a capacity of more than 400 passengers at any given time, the Falcon Gold lounge will be accommodate Falcon Gold passengers and Black, Gold and Silver Falconflyer members.
