Luxury serviced apartment brand Cheval Collection has continued its expansion in London, with the addition of a ninth property in Kensington.
Cheval Lexham Gardens will open this spring, located a ten-minute walk from Gloucester Road station. The property will comprise 30 fully equipped one- and two-bedroom apartments spread across six floors, with design inspired by the “quintessentially British history of the South Kensington property”.
The building was stripped back to brick by contemporary architects Guarnieri Architects, while Fife-based studio Mojo Designs is at the helm of the interior design. Design for the apartments will focus on the three themes of ‘Racing Green’, ‘Luxurious Glamorous Red’, and ‘Cool Neutral Equestrian’. Features will include spectacular murals, leather belt-strap headboards and cosy kitchen window-seat snugs.
There will also be a ground-floor reception, a landscaped atrium garden, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre with equipment from Precor including a treadmill, elliptical and stationary bike. One-bedroom apartments will start from £260 per night.

Westwell added that the brand saw a 27 per cent increase in its property inventory last year, with the addition of three properties in Scotland. The brand is also set to open 25 more apartments at Cheval Old Town Chambers to join the existing 50 in operation.
