Wizz Air has announced plans for six new holiday routes from its UK bases at Doncaster Sheffield, Gatwick and London Luton next spring.

The carrier will launch four summer-only routes from Doncaster Sheffield, as follows:

  • Palma de Mallorca – Monday and Friday from April 2, 2021
  • Dalaman – Wednesday and Sunday from April 4, 2021
  • Bourgas – Wednesday and Sunday from May 26, 2021
  • Heraklion – Monday and Friday from May 28, 2021

The routes from Doncaster and Luton to the coastal town of Dalaman represent Wizz Air’s first Turkish services since 2016.

The new services will bring Wizz Air’s presence at Doncaster Sheffield airport to 25 routes.

In addition the airline will launch year-round flights between Gatwick and Malaga, with a four times weekly service starting on April 2, 2021. And on the same day Wizz Air is set to commence a twice weekly, summer-only route between London Luton and Dalaman.

Earlier this month the carrier announced plans for a new base at Cardiff airport, with nine new routes launching from March 2021.
