The Leela Ambience Gurugram’s pan Indian restaurant, Diya, has announced its winter popup food promotion – Diya Under The Stars.

In the era of social distancing where outdoor dining is considered safer, the hotel has added an open air element to its restaurant Diya with its al fresco seating. Guests can dine in spacious cabanas wherein they feel comfortable and safe.

The menu has been kept concise, with dishes being altered every week in order to incorporate seasonal items and guest favourites.

The warmth of the sigris (tandoor) and the sound of the live music adds to this safe, winter dining experience in Delhi.

Deconstructed machi (fish), imli (tamarind) bhel, an array of kebabs, a signature item called ‘Aamne Saamne’ (in front of) where chefs prepare the dish in front of the guests, dal makhani, nalli nihari (mutton dish), sardi saag aur gud (spinach dish), classic Lucknowi murgh biryani cooked on dum (a way of cooking biryani) are a part of the extensive menu. Desserts include anjeer (fig), badam (almond) halwa (Indian dessert) tart and homemade gulab (rose) ice cream.
