Owned by a Brookfield Asset Management, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with Tulsi Palace Resorts Group to debut the former brand in Jaipur.

Over the next few months, the erstwhile JW Marriott Jaipur Resort & Spa, will undergo upgradations both in the product as well as its service offerings and will be branded by The Leela Group upon completion of refurbishment by early 2021.

The hotel has a beautiful location near the Amber Fort and is set over eight acres of manicured gardens overlooking the Aravalli mountain range.

The 200-key property will feature rooms, suites and 88 premium private villas. The F&B offerings will range from authentic Indian food to contemporary fine-dining establishments.

Its MICE facilities will make it an ideal hub for weddings and events, with over 4,645 sqm of meetings space including a pillar less Grand Ballroom and lush lawns. Leisure facilities will include a pool, a fitness centre and a spa.

“This hotel will be a significant addition to The Leela brand portfolio and will join our coveted Palace properties, The Leela Place New Delhi and The Leela Place Udaipur to complete the leisure circuit of one of the most sought-after tourist itineraries in the world. The branding is in lockstep with the growing demand from the discerning global traveller to experience meaningful and transformative journeys that are an authentic expression of a city’s heritage, history, culture and traditions,” said Anuraag Bhatnagar, CEO of  The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

Earlier this year, Marriott International had called-off its association with Tulsi Palace Resort Group, vacating the spa resort on July 7, 2020.
