Odisha’s tourism department has announced the second edition of the Eco Retreat event, a three-month glamping festival starting December 8.
Chief Minister of of Odisha Naveen Patnaik unveiled the event’s new logo as well as announced five unique locations where the festival will be held. Bhitarkanika, Daringbadi, Hirakud, Konark and Satkosia are the destinations chosen.
The festival boasts being “a carnival of ancient culture, an indulgence of local cuisines and an experience of ‘glamping’ accommodation.” It will offer tourists a range of activities from sports to workshops, guided tours among others.
Commenting on the news, Patnaik said:
“Last year, a benchmark was set in luxury glamping with a phenomenal success at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat at Konark.
“The Eco retreats will offer tourists an opportunity to discover Odisha’s diverse tourism offerings, in style.”
