Black Bowmore DB5 1964 is the striking first time collaboration between Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Aston Martin.

This exceptional concept brings together the iconic single malt and a genuine Aston Martin DB5 piston. There are only 25 bottles for sale for the Black Bowmore DB5 1964.

The limited edition bottle epitomises the year 1964, which was when Bowmore saw the arrival of a new boiler that produced the iconic deep-hued Bowmore spirit — Black Bowmore.

Only around six thousand bottles of Black Bowmore have been made available since 1993. This latest release represents only the sixth bottling of this rare single malt.

Interestingly enough, for Aston Martin as well, the year 1964 was crucial, as it saw the launch of the Aston Martin DB5.

Black Bowmore DB5 1964 is presented in a handmade presentation box. The deep blue colour and wave embossing is inspired by the distillery’s coastal home.

Its tasting notes integrate intense flavours of mango, passion fruit and acacia honey with coffee and tobacco smoke.
