In a move to further expand its presence in Indonesia, Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open a new Hotel Indigo-branded property in Jakarta.

For this project, IHG has partnered with PT Kapuk Naga Indah, the land and building owner and a subsidiary of property developer Agung Sedayu Group (ASG) and Salim Group.

Situated within an exclusive development on Golf Island PIK or Kawasan Pantai Maju, Hotel Indigo Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk will feature 200 guestrooms, recreational facilities and MICE venues among others.

Scheduled to open in 2022, the property is set to give its guests a contemporary yet uniquely Indonesian experience.

A 15-minute drive from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and a 40-minute drive from Jakarta city centre, PIK development spans the coastal districts of north Jakarta.

The exclusive development features luxury homes, offices, educational institutions and leisure facilities such as golf and country club, waterpark, luxury mall and hotels.

Serena Lim, vice president development, IHG southeast Asia and Korea said:

“Indonesia continues to be an important growth market for IHG, and we continue to see the demand for an aspirational lifestyle experience across segments. As the world’s largest lifestyle hotel operator, we are delighted to be expanding Hotel Indigo into new markets.”
