Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the signing of a Holiday Inn Resort in Karnataka, India.
The hospitality brand has partnered with Riteway and Medha Projects for Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats which is set to open in Q1 2023. This will be the first Holiday Inn Resort to open in the south of India.
Sakleshpur is close to Bengaluru and is a popular destination for leisure travellers looking for a holiday amidst nature. Holiday Inn Resort Sakleshpur Western Ghats is 6 km from the main Bengaluru and Mangalore highway.
The hotel will have four F&B outlets, including all-day dining, a bar, a speciality restaurant and a lobby lounge.
For corporate and social events, there is a 518 sqm of meeting space across three venues, including a 359 sqm ballroom. A pool, a fitness centre and a spa are available for rejuvenation. Additionally, the resort will also house a retail outlet, an indoor as well as an outdoor recreation facility.
