Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) will open Malaysia’s first Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants in 2023. For this, IHG has signed a management agreement with LQ Retail Sdn Bhd, a joint venture between Lendlease, an international property and infrastructure group and TRX City Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Tun Razak Exchange (TRX).
The hotel will be located at The Exchange TRX – a new experience-led lifestyle destination.
The Kimpton, Kuala Lumpur will feature 471 guestrooms, three F&B outlets including a rooftop bar and restaurant, a deli-grocer café, outdoor swimming pool and other recreational facilities. The property will have a range of meeting and event spaces to cater to corporate and family activities.
