Hilton has opened the fourth hotel under its fledgling LXR brand, and the first in Turkey.

Susona Bodrum, LXR Hotels and Resorts is located in Torba Bay on the Bodrum coastline, six kilometres from downtown, and features a private beach and five jetties.

Facilities include 76 rooms, suites and villas (the last of which have their own private pools), Spa Soul, fitness centre and a rooftop infinity swimming pool.

There are five restaurants and bars, including Frankie Beach Club Bodrum (a spin off Frankie Istanbul), Malva Restaurant and cocktail bar, and the rooftop Ezi Restaurant.

Hilton launched the LXR Hotels and Resorts brand in 2018, with the former St Regis Dubai Al Habtoor City the first to join the collection.

The St Regis property was joined last year by The Biltmore in London (for a review click here) and Zemi Beach House In Anguilla.

Two further properties are set to open in Kyoto and Las Vegas next year.

Resorts World Las Vegas to feature Hilton, LXR and Conrad properties

Commenting on the opening Simon Vincent, executive vice president, and president, EMEA, said:

“Hilton has a rich history in Turkey, which was home to our very first hotel outside of the US more than 60 years ago. With the coastal town of Bodrum providing fantastic facilities and breathtaking views, it is the perfect spot for us to expand our portfolio, and we couldn’t be happier to be opening our first LXR Hotels and Resorts property in the country.”

Susona Bodrum is the first of three Dogan Group-owned Hilton properties coming to Bodrum, the other two being the Doubletree by Hilton Isil Club Resort, and the Doubletree by Hilton Bodrum Marina Vista.
