A partnership between American Express and airport lounge company MAG USA will bring a pair of new lounges to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport later this year.

Terminal 4 will be the home of a new Centurion Lounge for premium-level Amex cardholders, as well as an Escape Lounge that will be accessible by holders of other Amex cards and the general public.

Combined, the two adjacent lounges will have more than 9,500 square feet of space, but separate amenities.

The Centurion Lounge (rendering pictured above) will feature premium cocktails curated by mixologist Jim Meehan, wines and wine flights selected by Anthony Giglio, and locally inspired cuisine, as well as semi-private and dedicated work areas.

Meanwhile the Escape Lounge will be part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection and, unlike the Centurion Lounge, will be accessible to all PHX travellers for a fee.

Amenities will include Phoenix-inspired cocktails from mixologist Sarah McElroy, local food and drinks, a “silent digital library” combining Bose noise-cancelling headphones and a collection of more than 7,000 publications, and children’s activities.

Each lounge will have high-speed wifi, showers, charging stations, TVs, and business services. American Express Platinum and Centurion members will have complimentary access to both locations; MAG will operate both lounges.
