Radisson has announced a new meetings and events service to be offered across its seven hotel brands.

‘Radisson Meetings’ will provide a point of contact during the event planning process to provide help and recommendations, and on-site support “at the touch of a button” during events.

The hotel group said it will invest millions into new audio-visual technology and improved facilities to get a more consistent service throughout its portfolio. It has currently upgraded 55 properties, with a view to complete the rollout across more than 1,100 properties by the end of 2021.

It will also partner with FirstClimate to make its meetings and events carbon neutral through offsetting, and seek to minimise food waste and single-use plastics.

Radisson Rewards for Business, its current loyalty program for event planners, will be incorporated into Radisson Meetings concept.

Eric De Neef, Radisson Hotel Group’s chief commercial officer, commented: “Radisson Meetings represents our commitment to deliver a personal, professional and memorable service to our guests, and to respond to changing market trends and expectations.”
