Radisson Hotel Group has announced a raft of new properties and brand conversions for the Americas region.

A total of six properties will join its Radisson Red, Radisson Blu, Radisson and Country Inn and Suites by Radisson brands over its next three years.

A new-build Radisson Red hotel is set to open at San Francisco Airport in the fourth quarter of 2022, featuring 130 rooms and the brand’s signature Ouibar and Kitchn restaurant.

Meanwhile Radisson Blu will welcome its first property in the Caribbean, with the conversion of an existing Radisson hotel into the Radisson Blu Granada Beach Resort. The 229-room hotel will be rebranded in December 2020, following renovation.

Canada is also set to get its first Radisson Blu, with the conversion of the existing Radisson Admiral Hotel Toronto Harbourfront this summer.

In Latin America the group is set to open the Radisson Hotel Plaza Del Bosque in the San Isidro district of Lima this month. The hotel features 95 rooms, a ninth-floor swimming pool, a restaurant and bar, fitness centre and meeting space.

Next year the Radisson Hotel Fargo in the city’s downtown area will rebrand under the Radisson Blu brand, and finally an existing hotel in North Little Rock, Arkansas will join the Country Inn and Suites portfolio in the third quarter of this year, following a $3 million renovation programme.

Commenting on the news John M Kidd, chief executive officer and chief operating officer, Radisson Hospitality, Inc, said:

“Last year at our conference, we shared our plans for expansion and how we will further establish the Radisson Blu and Radisson Red brands in the Americas.

Seeing our vision come to fruition is very rewarding, along with introducing our brands to new markets allowing more guests to experience our exceptional hospitality.

“Due to the hard work of our development and operations teams, as well as our incredible owners who believe in our brands, we are building a remarkable future for Radisson Hotel Group.”
