Radisson Hotel Group has announced the launch of Radisson Meetings— the hospitality group’s new meetings and events offering. This business service will be available across Radisson’s seven hotel brands worldwide.

In addition to offering a dedicated point of contact for planning and execution of events, Radisson Meetings boasts having an impressive portfolio of venues and expansive food menus among others.

Radisson is also expected to make a multi-million investment, across its portfolio, in new state-of-the-art audio-visual technology and improved amenities. Work for this has already been completed in 55 properties across 11 countries in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Eric De Neef, executive vice president, and global chief commercial officer, Radisson Hotel Group, said, “Radisson Meetings represents our commitment to deliver a personal, professional and memorable service to our guests, and to respond to changing market trends and expectations.

“We are investing in our meeting venues at our 1,100+ hotels worldwide, in training of our teams, and in technology. A state-of-the-art IT infrastructure and distribution platform are core elements helping us to deliver our brand promise.”

With a focus on eco-conservation, Radisson has teamed up with First Climate, a leading carbon offsetting organisation in the world. Through this collaboration, the hospitality group will work on carbon offset for every meeting and event taking place at Radisson hotels worldwide — for each meeting, the carbon footprint is calculated and then offset through First Climate by supporting projects that help combat climate change, and also have a sustainable development contribution in Peru, Kenya, and India or an investment  in wind energy in Turkey and the USA.

Moreover, efforts will also be taken minimise food wastage and eliminate single-use plastics.
