Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi is all set to open on July 1, 2019. The villa-resort spans over three islands and is 30 minutes away from Male International Airport via the resort’s private yacht.
Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi features 122 villas, each comprising of a pool and view of the Indian Ocean. The highlights of the reef, beach and overwater villa include a swinging daybed, dining gazebo, infinity pool, in-water lounge, and an outdoor shower. For those seeking exclusivity, the Ithaafushi Private Island has a two-bedroom overwater villa and three-bedroom beach villa.
The resort offers 11 dining venues including Terra offering tree-top dining experience, Yasmeen serving authentic Middle Eastern delicacies, and Glow for healthy food options.
Guests can enjoy Asian-inspired wellness treatments at Waldorf Astoria Spa equipped with ten overwater and garden treatment villas. In addition to this, there is an Ocean Pavilion hosting wellness activities; a fully-equipped fitness centre, and a combined water sport and PADI dive centre.
