Raffles, a part of AccorHotels has announced the launch of a 38-villa resort in Gaafu Alif Atoll of Maldives. Raffles Maldives Meradhoo is located at a distance of 55 minutes from Male International Airport and 15-minute speedboat ride from Kaadedhdhoo Airport.
Scheduled to open on February 1, 2019, this is the first Raffles branded hotel and fourth AccorHotels’ property in the Maldives.
Raffles Maldives Meradhoo will feature overwater villas, beach residences and the Raffles Royal Residence.
F&B outlets include the all-day dining restaurant Thari; Yuzu, a Peruvian and Japanese fusion restaurant; The Firepit for grilled specialty dishes and Long Bar for champagne and wines. Guests can enjoy tapas, sashimi and fine cocktails at the overwater Yapa Sunset Bar.
For those looking to explore the marine life in the region, the resort offers a resident marine biologist and a team of marine butlers who provide insights on the underwater world.
